Your new roleAs Senior Procurement Manager for IT, you will lead the strategic sourcing, contracting and supplier management of a broad technology portfolio. This includes cloud services, software licensing, cybersecurity, data platforms, telmunications and outsourced IT services. You will work closely with senior IT and transformation stakeholders, influencing major technology initiatives from an early stage. You will ensure strongernance, value for money,pliant sourcing and effective supplier performance management. The role also includes line management of one direct report, supporting capability development and delivery of procurement activity.
Key responsibilities include:
1. Developing and delivering IT category strategies
2. Leadingplex IT sourcing and RFP processes
3. Negotiating high‑value technology contracts and frameworks
4. Managing key suppliers through SLAs, KPIs andernance reviews
5. Ensuringpliance with third‑party risk requirements
6. Providing spend, savings andmercial insight to senior leadership
What you’ll need to succeed
7. Extensive experience in IT procurement ormercial management
8. Strong knowledge of cloud, SaaS, software licensing, IT outsourcing and cybersecurity
9. Proven experience supporting large technology transformation programmes
10. Demonstrated success negotiatingplex, high‑value IT contracts
11. Strongmercial, analytical and senior stakeholder management skills
12. Experience working inplex enterprise technology environments
