Position
We are currently seeking a Software Solutions Developer to join our CAREL UK Subsidiary located in Chessington.
The position offers an office-based work model.
The Software Solution Developer will have strong organisational skills and will join us to take ownership for designing, developing, and testing high efficiency, connected, and sustainable solutions for the HVACR market using CAREL programmable controls (PLC) and supervisory systems.
Main Accountabilities
2. Design, Develop, and Implement Software Solutions for the full range of CAREL Products
3. Engage with clients to understand their specific HVACR software requirements, including functionality, performance, and integration needs
4. Conduct thorough testing of software applications, identify and resolve bugs, and ensure optimal performance and reliability
5. Utilise CAREL based Software to Analyse and Optimise Customer System Efficiency
6. Provide customer support on the adopted programming tools for application software maintenance and training
7. Software Liaise between the UK Market and CAREL Headquarters
8. Use and Maintain the Required Level of the Adopted CRM Tools and Salesforce Case Management Tool

Requirements
Essential
14. Good knowledge of algorithms and data structures
15. Knowledge of PLC programming languages such as ST, ladder logic, FBD.
16. Knowledge of communication protocols: Modbus RTU, Modbus Ethernet, BACnet, Ethernet/IP, Profibus, DeviceNet, ControlNet, etc.
17. Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical specifications
18. Ability to document requirements and specifications
19. Proficiency in troubleshooting software issues and debugging a large codebase
20. Focus on customer engagement & management
21. Ability to prioritise workload
22. Capable of working without documented procedures and with limited supervision
23. A committed ‘can do’ positive attitude with the ability to integrate and work as a member of the Team
24. A willingness / ability to adapt and learn in an ever-changing environment
Preferred
25. Ability to develop software in ST, Java, JavaScript, Python, C++
26. Ability to develop web applications (HTML, JavaScript)
27. Experience working in a smaller Team/Office environment
28. Knowledge or experience in thermodynamics or HVACR applications
