Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Nursery Practitioner to join our expanding nursery. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in nurturing and developing young children in a safe and stimulating environment. This position requires strong leadership skills, effective communication, and a genuine love for working with children. As a Nursery Practitioner, you will contribute to the early childhood education of children, ensuring their wellbeing and promoting their development through engaging activities.


Duties

* Provide high-quality care and education for children aged 0-5 years in accordance with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
* Create a safe, welcoming, and stimulating environment that encourages children\'s exploration and learning.
* Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote physical, emotional, social, and cognitive development.
* Observe and assess children's progress, maintaining accurate records to support their individual learning journeys.
* Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
* Manage daily routines, including meal times, nap times, and play sessions, ensuring a structured yet flexible approach.
* Support children’s personal hygiene routines and encourage independence in self-care skills.
* Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.


Qualifications

* Relevant qualifications in Early Childhood Education or Childcare (e.g., Level 2 or above).
* Experience working with young children in a nursery or childcare setting is essential.
* Strong leadership abilities with the capacity to motivate and inspire both children and colleagues.
* Excellent communication skills in English to effectively engage with children, parents, and team members.
* A genuine passion for childcare with the drive to provide the best possible outcomes for children.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: £12.71 per hour
