You should be proactive, capable of managing your tasks, and confident in collaborating and communicating with Senior Managers, Directors, and Partners. You will help deliver accurate reporting and provide long-term value.
This is an exciting opportunity for a talented, high-performing, ambitious Senior Manager to join the Centre of Excellence in the Audit Quality Department (AQD). You will report to a Director/Partner and contribute to developing data analytics tools, solutions, methodologies, and guidance, supporting audit teams.
The CoE leads the development of firm-wide and sector-specific tools, supporting large, complex audits, especially in revenue, with plans to expand to other areas. It also supports external reviews and collaborates to enhance audit quality.
Your responsibilities include:
* Supporting audit teams on large and complex audits by coaching and implementing high-quality revenue audit strategies using controls and digital techniques.
* Reviewing audit files to enhance quality and coaching teams during the process.
* Assisting during external AQR reviews with the regulatory team.
* Leading the development of analytics tools, methodologies, and guidance for audit areas.
* Collaborating on training needs, developing materials, and facilitating sessions.
* Working with other teams to improve audit quality and digital techniques.
You should have:
* Strong knowledge of substantive and controls-based audit strategies, especially in revenue and key areas.
* Experience with Data Analytics procedures and methodology support.
* Experience reviewing audit files, either in regulatory roles or within practice.
* A solid understanding of the regulatory environment and technical audit expertise.
* Excellent communication skills, a passion for coaching, and the ability to challenge engagement teams effectively.
* ACA qualification or equivalent.
