About your team
At Centrica Business Solutions, we’re proud to partner with over 7,000 organisations globally – helping them to balance planet, with profit. We build, operate and maintain onsite, large‑scale energy assets like Solar PV and Combined Heat and Power – to help businesses to save the planet and save money. We’re also transforming the UK’s energy landscape by partnering with landowners and developers to build a 900MW portfolio of new grid‑scale solar farms and battery storage assets.
Military & Athlete 2026 Talent Placement – Change Delivery Manager x2 (June 2026 Intake)

This programme is designed to support you as you transition into a new career. Whether you are leaving the Armed Forces or finishing an elite sporting career, we welcome the experience, discipline and resilience you bring. You’ll gain hands‑on experience in a FTSE100 organisation, receive tailored support, and join a community that values who you are and what you can offer.
What you’ll do
No two days will be the same in our Transformation Team. You’ll work at pace, learn fast and contribute to meaningful transformation work across Centrica.
* Work within our Transformation Team on strategic change initiatives
* Help identify, plan and deliver change across business units
* Partner with colleagues and stakeholders to coordinate change activities
* Support teams to adopt new processes, systems and behaviours
* Translate complex information into clear, accessible communication
* Contribute to continuous improvement across the change community
* Build strong networks across the business
* Live our values: Courage, Care, Delivery, Agility and Collaboration
What we’re looking for
We’re looking for potential, not perfection. You don’t need to meet every requirement to apply.
Key Skills & Experience
* Experience delivering end‑to‑end change or complex projects
* Skills in service design, process improvement or project management
* Strong stakeholder engagement, influencing, communication and storytelling skills
* Confident with digital tools and problem solving
* Experience with analysis (process, gap or requirements)
* Ability to develop others and take ownership when change isn’t landing
* Strong leadership, with desirable familiarity with frameworks such as ADKAR, Scrum or Waterfall
You’ll also have a dedicated business mentor, opportunities to meet senior leaders, and plenty of support to settle into your role.
Who the programme is for
* Military Service Leavers (leaving the Forces or within the 2‑year CTP window at application)
* Elite Athletes (international competition experience and/or professional UK sports experience within the last two years)
* Applicants who have not completed our pathway programme previously

* £50,000 salary for the 12‑month placement
