Job summary The Children's Neurodevelopmental Service is a 0 - 18 service that works across Gwynedd and Anglesey local authorities. We are a multi-disciplinary team of professionals from a variety of background's who offer comprehensive neurodevelopmental assessments as well as medication and support to children and young people diagnosed with ADHD. Applicants should be registered professionals such a nurse, social worker, clinical psychologist, occupational therapist or speech and language therapist, and have a valid registration with an appropriate professional body. Applicants should also demonstrate experience in working with children and young people with neurodevelopment conditions (ASD and / or ADHD) and with children and families. Full training and supervision will be provided to ensure that the successful applicant becomes familiar with the assessment tools, and processes, used within the service. The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and English speakers are equally welcome to apply. Main duties of the job To work within a multi-disciplinary service completing neurodevelopment assessments for children and young people. Contributing to the internal assessment meetings and to the development and improvement of service delivery. Providing support, advice and guidance to parents and carers of children and young people with neurodevelopment conditions. Providing clinical and managerial support for junior colleagues Undertaking awareness raising and training to external agencies and internal service and professional's where required.
