Job Description:
We’re looking for an experienced and hands-on Warehouse Manager to take ownership of our warehouse operation. This role requires someone confident, organised and comfortable leading people day-to-day.
Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee daily warehouse operations and ensure fast, accurate dispatch
* Lead the team, set expectations and hold people accountable
* This is a hands-on role - you’ll lead by example, support the team on the floor, and take on picking and packing as part of your day-to-day, especially during busy periods
* Carry out stock checks, cycle counts and investigate discrepancies
* Improve workflows, layout and processes to boost efficiency
* Manage goods-in, goods-out and replenishment
* Train staff and ensure SOPs are followed
* Handle difficult conversations fairly and professionally
* Maintain a clean, safe and compliant warehouse
* Work with operations to solve issues and prevent repeats
* Manage courier collections, bookings and delivery-related issues
* Keep accurate system updates and simple KPI reporting
What We’re Looking For:
* Previous warehouse management experience is essential - this isn’t a step-up role
* Strong people management skills and the confidence to address issues early
* Someone who leads by example, takes responsibility, and doesn’t shy away from accountability
* Hands-on approach with excellent organisation and attention to detail
* Stock control and inventory system experience
* Calm, reliable, steady under pressure - especially during peak
* Fair, consistent, and able to manage different personalities day-to-day
* Forklift licence (or willingness to obtain)

* Working hours are Monday to Friday. Start times are typically 07:00 or 8:00am. As a management role, some flexibility is expected
* 28 days holiday including bank holidays
* Consistent weekday schedule (no nights)
