Greener Ealing Ltd (GEL) provides high-quality Waste Collection, Street Cleansing, Grounds Maintenance and other Environmental Services for our customers, the London Borough of Ealing, its residents, and other service users.
A fantastic opportunity has now arisen in our Fleet and Compliance team.
As a Transport Manager, your duties will include:
* Line managing Business Incident Coordinator and Administrator
* Being responsible for all H&S incident/accident investigations involving fleet, drivers and third party.
* Ensuring Compliance with legal requirements relating to driver hours, WTD, Daily Vehicle checks, and company policies are managed within relevant guidelines.
To be successful, you must have:
* Excellent I.T, numeracy, communication skills.
* Strong leadership and team management skills.
* A current full UK Driving licence or equivalent.
* Extensive experience of working in waste/environmental services industry.
* Experience of Managing budget, staffing levels and resources efficiently
* Certificate of Professional Competence (Goods National)
Please be aware that you may be required to work some unsociable hours including weekend working.
We offer:
* £45,000 – £55,000 per annum (dependant on experience)
* 40 hours per week
