(88eecfd0) A friendly lady in the Ashington area is looking for a committed care worker to provide support with personal care and meal preparation to help remain independent at home.
She has a diagnosis of Huntington's disease and requires support to manage day to day tasks as well as access appropriate activities. This lady has a good sense of humour, is sociable with those whom she has formed a relationship.
She enjoys watching crime documentaries, shopping and enjoying the garden during warmer weather. The preferred care worker will have similar interests and be willing to engage in these with the client, where appropriate.
The care worker is required to support with morning, lunch time and evening routine including:
· Personal care – dressing, undressing, showering, medication prompt · Meal Preparation
· Shopping – online
· Basic household tasks e.g. washing up after meals etc
Location: Ashington
Rates of Pay: £13.09 per hour
Hours of work: 16.45 hours per week including Morning, Lunch and Evening calls Wednesday - Friday. Days and times will be discussed during interview.
This role is to fit in with an existing team of support workers. Flexibility on times during the days will be discussed at interview. You will receive 5.6 weeks holiday pro rata per year as part of your employment
