Deputy Ward Manager (Mental Health Nurse)
What you'll be working: We're flexible, so you'll work a total of 37.5 hours per week, on a rota basis (Days & Nights).
What you'll be doing:
1. Provide strong clinical leadership to the nursing team.
2. Promote respect and advocacy for all patients.
3. Participate actively in the multidisciplinary team, formulating care plans and utilizing appropriate assessments.
4. Liaise effectively with MDT to assess and manage risks identified through patient assessments.
5. Regularly review risk factors and work with the MDT to modify care plans as needed.
6. Act as the primary nurse during inpatient stays.
7. Ensure clinical practice is evidence-based and aligned with NICE guidelines and company policies.
8. Undertake clinical supervision to develop competence and practice.
9. Mentor/support students and support workers as appropriate.
10. Supervise junior staff in executing care plans.
11. Ensure effective supervision and support to the nursing team each shift.
12. Participate in clinical audits, risk management, and incident reporting.
