Job Details
* Contract: Fixed Term Maternity Cover
* Schedule: Monday 08:30‑16:30; Tuesday 08:30‑16:30; Wednesday 08:30‑12:15
* Salary: £13,000‑£15,000 (£26,000‑£30,000 FTE)
What You’ll Be Doing
* Deliver inspiring training – plan and deliver fun, interactive sessions that keep learners engaged and motivated.
* Assess & feedback – mark learner work, provide constructive feedback, and set SMART goals to help them progress.
* Develop the curriculum – keep programs fresh and industry‑relevant, ensuring learners acquire real‑world skills.
* Support & mentor – act as a role model, helping learners overcome barriers and achieve their goals.
* Keep records up to date – maintain accurate learner progress, attendance, and assessments.
* Work as a team – collaborate with colleagues, employers, and stakeholders to ensure a seamless learning experience.
* Stay ahead of the game – engage in continuous professional development to keep your skills sharp and relevant.
What You Need To Bring To The Table
* Recognised teaching qualification (PTLLS or equivalent)
* Passion for helping people succeed
* Strong communication & interpersonal skills
* Confidence with IT (for record‑keeping & lesson planning)
* Bonus: previous experience as an Employability Tutor (not essential)
