Hours:
* Full Time – Monday to Friday – 37.5 hours per week (rotational weekend, late night and bank holiday work)
* Part Time – Monday to Wednesday – 22.5 hours per week (rotational weekend, late night and bank holiday work)
* Permanent
Salary: £24,937 – £26,598 per annum, pro rata

We are seeking an enthusiastic, motivated Senior Pharmacy Assistant to join our Pharmacy Department. The successful candidate will:
* Work in the main dispensary, SACT dispensing, ward stock distribution, goods receipt and rotational ward activities alongside the pharmacy team.
* Support accurate and efficient receipt of medicines and carry out routine tasks including stock top‑ups, supply and distribution to wards and departments.
* Undertake Pharmacy Assistant duties as required, related filing, assist audit and review of systems, and participate in training new assistants and students.
* Use computer skills, communicate effectively, work as part of a team, manage time safely, and take initiative.
Qualifications and Experience
* NVQ Level 2 in Pharmacy Services (or equivalent) recognised by the GPhC.
* Experience dispensing in a hospital or community pharmacy setting.
* Community pharmacy qualifying professionals wishing to move into hospital pharmacy encouraged to apply.
