Responsibilities
As a Bank Support Practitioner you’ll provide high quality, person-centred care, ensuring continuity of support when colleagues are on leave or attending training. To build trusting relationships we ask you ideally pick up 1-2 shifts per week. You’ll support individuals with disabilities and/or additional needs, helping them with everyday living tasks such as meal preparation, medication, attending appointments, enjoying activities and maintaining personal care. Along with practical support you also offer emotional support, help individuals build relationships and empower them to stay connected with family and friends.
Qualifications
* Have an empathetic and caring nature.
* Good observation skills.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Confidence in using computers.
* Be able to work well in a team environment and on your own.
* Good organisational skills.
Shift Patterns
* Our dedicated friendly team provide 24/7 support which is tailored to the needs of each individual.
* Depending on shift length you may be supporting more than one individual but we factor travel into your hours.
* Our shifts include early, day, late and sleepovers; weekday, weekend and public holidays.
