This advert is open to both Internal and External applicants. This post is a Fixed-Term for 18 months. The Department for Transport have awarded Stoke-on-Trent City Council over £40m since 2023, for investment into the bus network, with four key targets of improving reliability, punctuality, number of passengers carried and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
* Coordinate and report the results of the bus network investment, evidencing benefits to partners.
* Review before data, organise and support the collection of new data, and evaluate results.
* Provide outputs to demonstrate improvements across the bus network, including bus priority through traffic signal technology, increased enforcement of on-street restrictions, improvement of bus stop areas, and accessibility for passengers.
* Communicate data insights to a variety of audiences in different formats.
Qualifications and Experience
* Experience of reviewing data, interpreting and understanding data to communicate results to varied audiences.
* Ability to build relationships across a wide range of stakeholders including local authorities, bus companies and Department for Transport representatives.
Employment Terms
* This is a fixed-term post for 18 months; there may be an opportunity to extend if further funding is secured.
* This is a full-time role based at the Civic Centre.
