Trade Hut Direct is an ambitious, data and Ai driven e-commerce company built for scale. With over 40,000 SKUs across DIY, home, plumbing, and garden categories. We're building a modern marketplace operation that delivers both breadth and performance. As we expand into new sales channels and launch more exclusive ranges, we're now looking for a Senior Marketplace Executive to play a pivotal role in our next phase of growth.
The Role
This isn't a standard marketplace role.
We're looking for someone who's been hands-on with Amazon, eBay, B&Q (and others), understands the mechanics behind product launches, and knows how to work with data — not be afraid of it.
You'll help us scale across existing and new marketplaces, manage the detail of large data files, and take ownership of channel-specific projects, reporting, and optimisation. You'll work closely with our internal team, senior leadership, and external brand partners to ensure we're always growing, and doing it efficiently.
What You'll Do
* Launch new products across Amazon, eBay, and emerging marketplaces (e.g. OnBuy, B&Q, ManoMano, TikTok Shop).
* Own the listing process — from content creation to file uploads and platform-specific optimisations.
* Manage and manipulate large data files including flat files, bulk templates, pricing sheets, supplier feeds and inventory reports.
* Support the launch of new marketplaces, understanding technical requirements and operational needs.
* Support our expansion into new territories as we look to expand our retail arm outside of the UK into the EU, USA and Australia
* Monitor and report on channel performance, identifying wins, trends, and areas for improvement.
* Work on marketplace improvement projects (pricing strategy, promotional campaigns, content A/B testing, etc.).
* Liaise directly with our brands and partners to align on strategy, assets, and category growth plans.
* Support junior team members with guidance on best practice, data accuracy, and marketplace logic.
What You'll Need
* 2–4 years of hands-on experience in a marketplace role (Amazon, eBay, etc.)
* Strong understanding of marketplace operations, listing optimisation, and back-end processes
* Confident working with Excel/Google Sheets, including VLOOKUP, pivot tables, and formulas
* Experience handling and uploading bulk product files (Amazon flat files, eBay bulk listings, etc.)
* Familiarity with how pricing, fulfilment, and content impact commercial performance
* Comfortable juggling multiple projects and workstreams
* Strong attention to detail and process-driven mindset
* Clear communicator with the ability to work cross-functionally
* Commercially aware — you understand margins, costs, and the commercial impact of your actions
Bonus Points For
* Experience launching or managing emerging marketplaces (TikTok Shop, The Range, Wickes, ManoMano, etc.)
* Familiarity with tools like Helium 10, Amazon Ads, etc.
* Experience working with consumer brands or exclusive product partnerships
* Exposure to fulfilment models (FBM, FBA, SFP, dropship)

Pay: £33,000.00-£36,000.00 per year
