Registered Children's Home Manager – Colchester
Salary: £47,500 – £55,000

About the Role
As Registered Manager, you will lead from the front — overseeing all operational aspects of the service while ensuring that children and young people receive the highest quality care and support in a safe, nurturing, and trauma-informed environment.
You’ll be responsible for:

Day-to-day leadership and service management

Ensuring compliance with Ofsted regulations

Supporting your team’s development and wellbeing

Driving occupancy and ensuring financial performance

Working closely with external professionals and stakeholders

Fostering a culture of continuous improvement and child-centred care
What We’re Looking For
We’re seeking a passionate, experienced leader who meets the following criteria:

Minimum 2 years’ experience working in a children’s residential care setting within the last 5 years
*
Minimum 1 year supervising or managing care staff
*
Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management for Residential Childcare (or equivalent)
*
Strong knowledge of Ofsted standards and safeguarding practices
*
A trauma-informed, person-centred approach to care
*
Excellent communication and leadership skills
