Role Overview
We are seeking a Senior Scrum Master with strong experience in scaled Agile environments to drive predictable, high‑quality delivery across our SaaS product portfolio. You’ll champion Agile maturity, empower high‑performing teams, and streamline workflows so we can efficiently deliver meaningful, reliable solutions for teachers and pupils.

Key Responsibilities
* Line‑manage and mentor Scrum Masters, supporting their development and strengthening Agile maturity across the organisation
* Ensure initiatives are well‑defined, estimated, and planned, meeting the definition of ready with clear sprint goals
* Drive predictable delivery by managing capacity, dependencies, risks, requirement changes and release timelines
* Facilitate scaled Agile ceremonies to maintain alignment and strong cross‑team collaboration
* Maintain healthy, well‑refined backlogs with actionable stories, tasks and test cases
* Champion team focus, ensuring work is aligned to priorities and reducing unnecessary context switching
* Collaborate closely with Product, Engineering and UX to deliver high‑quality outcomes
* Lead rollout activities, stakeholder communication, hypercare triage and end‑of‑initiative retrospectives
* Foster a culture of transparency, accountability and continuous improvement across distributed teams
What Will You Need to Succeed?
Experience
* 4+ years as a Scrum Master in an Agile environment
* Experience delivering digital products (ideally in EdTech or related sectors)
* Proven ability to lead multiple teams or complex initiatives
Knowledge
* Strong understanding of Scrum, Kanban, SAFe and Lean principles
* Experience running or facilitating scaled ceremonies
* Understanding of software development, DevOps, or cloud technologies (desirable)
Skills
* Skilled in planning, tracking, managing and reporting on key delivery metrics
* Strong communication skills across technical and non‑technical stakeholders
* Effective stakeholder management and ability to remove blockers quickly
* Proactively identifies risks and dependencies, implementing mitigation strategies
* Adapts Agile processes when beneficial and promotes innovation
* Comfortable in fast‑paced environments, balancing short‑term delivery and long‑term improvement
Qualifications
* Certified Scrum Master (CSM, PSM, SSM or equivalent)
* Leadership & project management certifications such as SAFe, PMP, Lean Six Sigma (desirable, not essential)
* Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business or Project Management (desirable)
