An expanding company in Cardiff city centre are adding to their team and recruiting for an Finance Administrator on a permanent basis. The Finance Administrator will form part of a busy and growing team and reports to the Finance Manager. This role will be responsible for all Accounts Payable activities with involvement in Accounts Receivable invoicing, processing expenses payments and additional bookkeeping duties. Finance Administrator duties Perform day to day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, and recording accounts payable data. Understand expense accounts and cost centres. Process outgoing payments in compliance with financial policies and procedures. Understand compliance issues around processes (e.g. VAT). Support in processing credit card transactions. Liaise with a wide variety of stakeholders, both internal and external. Report on the status of accounts payable and receivable. Update internal accounting databases and spreadsheets. Finance Administrator person specification Previous experience of working in a Finance Administrator, Accounts Assistant or Accounts Payable role. Hands-on experience with accounting software and good level of ability with Microsoft Excel. Good knowledge of bookkeeping procedures. Solid data entry skills with an ability to identify numerical errors. Good organisational and time-management abilities. Detail oriented approach. Clear communication skills. Ability to address queries and escalate problems.
