Role Description
We are looking for a
Technical Apparel Designer / Product Developer
who can take clear ideas and turn them into
factory-ready tech packs
that come back right the first or second sample.
This is not a "creative mood-board" role. This is a precision, execution-focused role.
Responsibilities:
* Translating product ideas, references, and briefs into
detailed, factory‑ready tech packs
* Creating flat sketches (front/back/inside) using Adobe Illustrator
Building full specification sheets including:
* Construction details
* Stitch types and seam allowances
* Fabric composition, GSM, stretch and recovery notes
* Pantone colour references
* Trim and accessory specifications
* Measurement charts with tolerances
* Communicating clearly with overseas factories
* Supporting sampling rounds by making
precise, logical revisions
to measurements and construction
* Flagging potential production or fit issues before samples are made
* Working fast and iterating
Must have skills (non-negotiable):
* Proven experience creating
technical apparel tech packs
for factories
* Strong understanding of
activewear fabrics and construction
(knits, stretch, drape, recovery)
* Experience working with
Chinese manufacturers
* Ability to engineer fit and grading logically across sizes
* High proficiency in
Adobe Illustrator
* Comfortable working from imperfect briefs (voice notes, rough sketches, references)
* Ability to deliver a complete tech pack within
2–4 working days
