Due to changes in the ARRS Scheme to introduce General Practitioners, Stockport East and South PCN are looking to expand our team by seeking to employ a highlymotivated, newly qualified General Practitioner to work alongside our practicesand PCN staff.
This is an exciting opportunity to join our multi-disciplinary PCN team consisting of 8 GP Practices, Clinical Pharmacists, Paramedics, Social Prescribers, Physiotherapists, Care Coordinators, Health Coach and Pharmacist Technicians.
SESSIONS: We will consider both full-time of up to 8 sessions per week, or part-time posts of at least 4 sessions a week.
PLACE OF WORK:Stockport South and East PCN.
EMPLOYER: Practice within the PCN.
CONTRACT: 6 month fixed term contract and subject to the funding related to the ARRS role.

Main duties of the job
To perform as an autonomous general practitioner workingindependently and with other health care professionals to assess, diagnose andtreat the conditions of patients attending within a primary care setting, bothin practice and on home visits.
Provide expert professional advice to patients, carers andcolleagues and ensure the maintenance of clinical excellence. To beprofessionally accountable and responsible for all elements of clinicalpractice in accordance with the GMC code of conduct ensuring the safety ofpatients and quality of their care is primary.
The post holder will need to have full access to a car toenable full geographical working across Stockport East and South PCN and workflexibly to meet the needs of the PCN.

We are 8 GP Practices in Stockport East and South PCN. Wehave a weighted list size of approximately 60,000 patients between the 8 GPpractices. Our practices look after patients from Hazel Grove to High Lane,Marple, Romiley and Woodley.
