Psychotherapist
Falkland House School – Fife, Scotland, KY15 7AE
Salary: Up to £52,000 FTE DOE (pro rata to hours)
Hours: 2–3 days per week, hours negotiable
Contract: Fixed Term until July 2027
About the role
We are looking for an experienced Psychotherapist to join our developing Clinical Team at Falkland House School.
In this role you will collaborate to deliver bespoke assessment and intervention plans for pupils with complex communication needs, autism and associated learning and emotional needs. You will implement a holistic therapeutic approach, ensuring pupils are safe, comfortable and healthy. You will carry out specialist individual assessments and interventions, prepare documentation including reports, and support the clinical service provision by providing training to staff and parents.
We have a multidisciplinary Clinical Team that maintains a nurturing environment for pupils, upholding a strong safeguarding culture and ensuring pupils are heard and involved in decisions that affect them.
Qualifications
* Degree or Masters in Psychotherapy or counselling.
* Registered member of one or more of the following bodies: HCPC, BACP, BABCP, PTUK, NCPC, UKCP.
* Experience working therapeutically within a school or child and adolescent setting (preferred).
* Clear and concise report writing relating to clinical and research activities.
* Experience working with people with neurodivergence and/or complex needs.
* Ability to work independently under supervision.
* Experience of multi‑professional work teams or services within a designated specialty.
* Evidence of continuing professional development relevant to the setting.
* Full valid UK driving licence and access to own vehicle.
