About the Bader Gym
The Bader Gym, located within Queen Mary’s Hospital in Roehampton, is a specialist, purpose‑built exercise facility open to people of all ages. The gym supports able‑bodied users as well as individuals with a wide range of physical conditions, learning disabilities, and mental health needs.
Our service plays an important role in supporting patients from the inpatient rehabilitation wards, individuals under MSK Outpatient services, those continuing with falls‑prevention programmes, as well as hospital staff and the general public. This creates a varied, rewarding working environment where exercise support contributes to rehabilitation, wellbeing and community health.
The Bader gym team is an established team comprised of 1 full‑time and 2 part‑time fitness instructors. The gym is open Mon‑Fri from 8am‑5pm and offers exercise provision to a range of clients as well as patients being treated within the rehabilitation wards in the hospital. It also offers free access to staff as part of the Trust’s health and well‑being initiatives for its staff.
