About The Role
Balfour Beatty has a fantastic opportunity for a Security Supervisor to join the Power T&D team.
You will work alongside the Project Manager/Project Director and project team, with accountability for successful project delivery including planning, delivery, monitoring, and handover/close out.
This position is site-based near Sudbury, Suffolk, and is a fixed-term contract for 23 months.
What you'll be doing
1. Main duty to supervise Project Security Sub-Contractors.
2. Brief the working party and ensure it is followed to completion.
3. Set people to work and supervise a right-first-time delivery to safely and sustainably develop and deliver to programme and cost.
4. Manage logistics of site set-ups and ensure compliance with security management plan and policies & procedures.
5. Monitor assets and processes to minimise losses to the project.
6. Manage and care for the people delivering the works, monitoring compliance and meeting customer/project requirements, objectives, and constraints such as time, cost, quality, and safety.
7. Attend weekly project meetings.
8. Maintain accurate project records (progress, daily diaries, etc.).
9. Prepare internal/external reports and liaise with stakeholders.
10. Take ownership of Security and CCTV Schedule in line with works programme and budgets.
11. Ensure Site Security arrangements are implemented and set up as per site plans.
