Job Description:
As a Sales Specialist (Mortgages), you will be at the heart of our intermediary sales operation—building strong relationships with brokers across the UK and becoming a product expert across Together’s full suite of eight regulated and unregulated offerings. You will support both the specialist packager market and the Network & Club space, helping brokers navigate complex cases and ensuring the best possible submission routes. This is a fast-paced, collaborative role where self-drive and teamwork are essential.
Responsibilities include:
1. Building and maintaining strong relationships with mortgage brokers nationwide, delivering exceptional service via phone and email.
2. Becoming a subject matter expert across Together’s eight mortgage products, spanning both regulated and unregulated markets.
3. Engaging in detailed discussions with brokers to understand complex enquiries and advise on the most suitable submission routes.
4. Providing regular feedback to Account Managers on broker sentiment and market trends to help identify new opportunities.
5. Taking ownership of chasing referrals and early-stage cases to ensure they progress efficiently through the pipeline.
6. Supporting brokers operating in the specialist packager space as well as those aligned with Networks and Clubs.
7. Thriving in a fast-paced environment where collaboration, initiative, and accountability are key to success.
Qualifications
Essential:
* Proven experience in the mortgage industry.
* Strong understanding of both regulated and unregulated mortgage products.
* Experience managing inbound service calls, outbound sales calls, and email communications.
* Excellent relationship-building and communication skills.
* Ability to handle objections and solve problems effectively.
* Comfortable working in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
Desirable:
* Telephony sales experience with a mortgage lender or broker.
* CeMap Qualified.
