Conveyancing Assistant – Selby I am working with a well-regarded regional law firm that is looking to add an experienced Conveyancing Assistant to its busy residential property team based in Selby. This full-time, office-based role offers a great opportunity for someone with at least 12 months of hands-on conveyancing experience to further develop their legal career within a supportive and progressive environment. You will work closely with a team of experienced Conveyancers and Solicitors, assisting on a high-volume caseload of residential sales and purchases from file opening through to completion. About the role: This is a client-facing role where you will be expected to manage a broad range of administrative and case support tasks. You will play a vital role in progressing matters efficiently, keeping clients and third parties informed and ensuring files are maintained in line with firm procedures. Key duties include: Opening new client files and maintaining case management systems Drafting legal documentation including sale contracts and initial correspondence Ordering searches and assisting with client reports Supporting exchanges, completions and post-completion processes Liaising with clients, Estate Agents and Solicitors via phone and email Handling post and general office admin including billing, filing and archiving What we are looking for: A minimum of 12 months’ experience in a Conveyancing Support or Assistant role Previous exposure to residential property transactions including sales and purchases Strong administrative skills with excellent attention to detail Confident and professional communication, both written and verbal Proficient in IT systems and able to manage a varied workload A positive, proactive attitude with a team-oriented approach A commitment to excellent client care and service delivery Why join this Selby-based law firm: This firm is known for its strong local reputation and commitment to client service.
