My client, a leading regional legal practice, is looking to recruit a Senior Associate (ideally 5-10 years PQE) to join their growing Development team, focusing on Strategic Land Development. The firm generates significant opportunities from regional and national landowners/property developers. To enable growth, they require an experienced solicitor with a strong background in Strategic Land Development (Option and/or Promotion agreements) and an established reputation in this field, including connections with agencies.
This represents a great opportunity to develop a practice/business in Strategic Land Development across the UK.
Job Responsibilities:
* Managing own caseload and meeting deadlines
* Assisting partners with complex, high-value matters
* Retaining clients through effective management and service
* Properly scoping and pricing new instructions with good financial oversight
* Providing clients with accurate, current legal advice tailored to their circumstances, offering value for money
* Contributing to the team’s business plan and delivering assigned activities
* Building relationships within the firm
* Supporting business development and attending conferences
* Managing direct reports as the team grows
Person Specification:
* Proven experience in Strategic Land Development
* Adaptable, enthusiastic, flexible, and able to work under pressure individually and in teams
* Collaborative with colleagues across the firm
* Client-focused, delivering timely and cost-effective services
* Effective communicator at all levels
* Strong commercial acumen with a desire to grow and succeed with the firm
