We are hiring skilled Class 1 Welders for a client in Northern Ireland, specialising in the fabrication of trailers, agricultural machinery, and commercial vehicle bodies. This is a workshop-based role with consistent, steady work on standardised products, using jig-facilitated MIG welding processes.
Key Responsibilities:
* Carry out MIG welding and fabrication of light-gauge components (no heavy lifting; lifting aids provided)
* Follow technical engineering drawings to produce high-quality finished products
* Work with jigs to ensure consistency and efficiency
* Maintain high-quality standards across all work
* Support production schedules and meet daily targets
* Contribute to a safe, clean, and well-organised workshop environment
Requirements:
* Proven welding/fabrication experience, ideally in manufacturing or vehicle body assembly
* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
* Strong attention to detail and reliability
* Good communication and organisational skills
* Willingness to learn and work efficiently under pressure
* Must have or be willing to take the UKVI IELTS with a minimum score of 4.0 in each section (Listening, Reading, Writing, Speaking)
Desirable:
* Valid or recent welding certifications (Coded/BS EN/ASME/ISO)
* Experience with jig work and workshop-based fabrication
* Familiarity with production-focused environments
