An opportunity has arisen for a Transport Co-Ordinator to join our busy Transport Department at the Victoria Hospital, Kirkcaldy to manage, co-ordinate and participate in the activities of the Transport Department which delivers various services across Fife-wide locations, and out with Fife.

A working knowledge of Transport and Driving procedures and protocols within a healthcare or similar setting e.g. the Highway Code, Driver Operating policy, Carriage of Dangerous Goods and Vehicle Safety Inspection procedures.

Must hold a full UK Driving License.

Candidate must have good verbal and written communication skills. Ability to act professionally and calmly, and be able to work on own initiate and also as part of a team.

You will have a responsibility for 40 staff members, and approximately 20 vehicles. Ensuring the day-to-day management and duties of the Transport Department are fulfilled, along with staff management, staff training and ensuring drivers are competent and complying with legislation at all times.

The vehicle fleet ranges from cars, minibus, small & large vans and 3.5 tonne lutons, the vehicle fleet also includes a number of EV.

Position is based within the Victoria Hospital, Kirkcaldy site, predominately working Monday to Friday, office hours as per the needs of the service.
