A significant international firm is seeking a junior Lawyer to join their highly ranked Projects team in the City of London. The firm has a very strong reputation across the board and the Infrastructure, Energy & Projects team is no different, frequently working on projects that reach international headlines. The range of projects the team works on is a particular draw, as there are often opportunities to travel to their unique and innovative projects, many of which are in African jurisdictions. Clients include sponsors, developers and funders, in addition to both public and private sector clients. Further details of the specific projects can be discussed in due course.
In joining this established team, the new Associate will gain excellent exposure to leading Partners as well as strong training and progression opportunities. In advising clients on investments across Africa, the Middle East and Europe, specific responsibilities may include negotiating finance documents, corporate documents, complex commercial contract and joint venture documents.
As this is a junior role, ideally for a Lawyer between NQ and 3 years’ PQE, the candidate does not necessarily already need to be a specialist in this area. Many current team members come from non-projects transactional backgrounds, such as RE, Corporate or Banking. Training will be provided.
This is an opportunity for a junior Lawyer to join a prestigious international firm in one of its strongest developing teams.
