Job Title: Project Delivery Lead – Flight Systems

Salary: £54,793+ Depending on experience
Responsibilities
* Effectively manage overall delivery, integration, and reporting of Flight Systems.
* Collaborate closely with stakeholders to define the project approach and create realistic plans (including quality, risk, and communication strategies).
* Diligently monitor progress against the project schedule and manage stakeholder involvement as required.
* Carefully oversee the UK scope of work and coordinate with the international delivery team.
* Actively support the development and implementation of tailored project management practices as part of the Project Management team.
* Responsibly control the budget on behalf of the Flight Systems management team, covering both resources and contracted activities.
Qualifications
* Experience working across multiple delivery teams.
* Prince2/APM certification or equivalent.
* Familiarity with MS Project (preferred, but not essential).

The Project Management Team
As part of the exciting GCAP Delivery initiative, our Project Management (PM) team plays a pivotal role in supporting domain delivery, domain integration, and driving broader FCAS integration activities. In this role, you’ll be leading the PM team within the dynamic Flight Systems domain working closely with our partners from Edgewing in Reading a Italy.
You'll oversee and support the delivery of two key contracts, collaborating both nationally, through FCAS Lines of Business (LoB) and other Business Units/Operations and internationally within the EIT construct. The wider PM team currently boasts around 70 talented individuals, all contributing to the success of the program. Your team, specifically focused on Flight Systems, consists of around 20 dedicated professionals who work closely together to drive impactful results.
