General Responsibilities:
9. Engineering deliverables covering the full lifecycle of the Program as required by Program Scope
10. Responsibility for technical delivery of complex work packages, providing leadership to cross-functional Teams within an IPT framework
11. Responsibility to manage requirements and execute to budget and schedule within the assigned Project scope
12. Define and deliver the customer requirements and definition for the project. Closely follow change with eye for technical and contractual impacts
13. Provide technical interface with Customers maintaining a pro-active Customer-driven attitude. Develop Customer relationships based on transparency and trust
14. Effective communication across different levels of the Organization to ensure alignment at working and management level
15. Responsible for the technical deliverables supporting Programme and Gate Reviews
16. Collaborate closely with the Engineering Manager Projects to ensure delivery
17. To support process and procedures in line with signatory delegation of AP1020 & Collins DOA.
18. Check and sign technical documentation
19. Travel to other CA or Customer sites will be required depending on Programme needs
20. Comply with Engineering processes and methodologies
Planning and Project Management:
21. Responsible to define schedule and resource requirements for complex work packages
22. Communication of tasks to cross-functional IPT setting clear expectations and managing execution on-time and to-quality
23. Responsible to track complex work packages for schedule and cost
24. Understanding of risk and opportunity (R&O) in plans and effective communication of the R&O balance within the IPT as well as within the Management structure
25. Effective collaboration with all departments (e.g. Programmes, Supply Chain, Operations etc.) to ensure delivery of all relevant work packages
26. Keep action trackers, lessons learnt and risk registers up to date with technical and Engineering project risks and issues.
27. Maintain Project KPI and report Project status to Customer and internal stakeholders
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

Skills and Experience:
31. Engineering degree or equivalent experience
32. Good understanding of mechanical/ aerospace engineering principles
33. Good understanding of Product Design within an Aerospace environment including aspects such as structured Design Reviews, Certification, Requirements and Configuration Management etc
34. Working knowledge of 3D CAD packages with the ability to interrogate designs using 3D models
35. Experience in delivery of Engineering Work Packages showing at least some degree of technical leadership
36. Experience in the design of Products used in Aircraft Interiors is desirable
37. Proven Project management Experience
