Surveyor – Specialist Drylining & Façade Contractor – Location: Erith, Kent (DA8). Working Pattern: Full time.
The Opportunity
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an Assistant Surveyor to join a growing specialist contractor delivering dry lining, SFS, and façade packages across a range of construction projects. This role offers genuine ownership of project packages, allowing you to take responsibility for the commercial management of schemes from procurement through to final account. You will play a key role in cost control, commercial reporting, subcontractor management, and client engagement, helping to ensure projects are delivered profitably and successfully. Working closely with both commercial and operational teams, this position would suit a commercially aware Surveyor looking to develop their career within a supportive environment while gaining exposure to complex, high‑value projects.

What the Company Looks For
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a Surveying or similar commercial role
- Strong understanding of construction processes, ideally within dry lining, SFS, or façade systems
- Experience managing project costs, budgets, and commercial reporting
- Ability to prepare and submit Applications for Payment
- Experience assessing and pricing variations
- Good understanding of contracts and subcontractor management
- Strong commercial awareness and analytical skills
- Proficient in Excel and reporting tools
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- HNC, Degree, or working towards a construction‑related qualification (supported)
