We’re looking for a Digital Product Manager to join us in the Performance Marketing team. This role will initially be responsible for managing new and innovative search and discover functions to help users find our content, through delivering enhancements to our websites and introducing new approaches to product merchandising. Your work will support our cross-departmental digital marketing and communications strategy and unlock the potential of our digital assets to inspire new audiences.
What it's like to work here
Your contractual location will be our head office in Swindon and there will be an expectation for you to attend the office. However, there is flexibility on where you are based at other times. You will be required to work at a National Trust location for 40-60% of your working week. This will be discussed in more detail at interview.
What you'll be doing
You’ll be scoping and delivering a range of tools and features to help grow audience reach for digital products, initially focused on delivering change across the National Trust website to inspire people to visit and engage with our customer offer through faceted and personalised digital tools. The role will work hand-in-hand with Marketing Channel teams, Programme Leads, Marketing Operations, IT, external partners and the Customer Journeys team to help deliver the vision for the organisation as a whole.
Who we're looking for
We’re looking for a product all-rounder who is able to adapt to a rapidly developing digital marketing landscape, and who is keen to develop a specialism in Search. In your application, please provide details of how you meet the criteria below:
* Developing digital product strategies and roadmaps
* Deep understanding of UX and audience-first principles and practices in product management
* An understanding of design for Ecommerce, Merchandising or related disciplines
* Good awareness of technical SEO practices and the impact of AI on search behaviours
* Experience of working with technical teams in an Agile delivery environment,
* Understanding of project management tools and techniques with a good understanding of their application and value
* Experienced in communications and stakeholder management processes and practices including techniques to influence and negotiate at all levels
* Successful management of major, strategic or complex product portfolios in a multi-disciplined environment
