At Job&Talent, we are recruiting for Forklift Operator / TLT Operator to work with Unipart JCB, a leading company known for its expertise in logistics and supply chain management. Unipart JCB provides comprehensive services, including warehousing, distribution, and transportation solutions.
Shift Patterns:
Monday to Thursday: 07:00 - 16:00 (+1h committed OT)
Friday: 07:00 - 12:00
Pay Rates:
Standard: £13.67 per hour
Overtime: £20.50 per hour (paid after 39 standard hours)
As an Forklift Operator you will need to have:
Previous experience operating MHE (Counterbalance/Forklift/Teletruck/Bradshaw)
Valid accredited FLT licence
Positive drive and commitment
Ability to work alone and self motivate
Ability to work safely and efficiently in a very fast-paced environment
Good communication and teamwork skills (using radios)
Physical stamina to handle the demands of the job as this role requires also manual handling
This role requires working outdoors in various weather conditions
Role of a Forklift Operator:
Operating FLT to move stock around
Deliver to line using Bradshaw
Manual handling
Operate TLT/bradshaw and other handling equipment depending on the task
Maintain clear communication with team members and supervisors
Adhere to site procedures and guidelines
