Your New Role
As Financial Controller, you'll lead a team of four and take ownership of the finance function. You'll be responsible for:

* Driving the month-end close process and delivering results within 4-day reporting deadlines.
\t
* Managing the annual audit and liaising with external auditors.
\t
* Preparing consolidated management accounts and statutory financial accounts.
\t
* Overseeing UK VAT returns and ensuring compliance.
\t
* Monitoring and forecasting cashflow to support acquisitions and growth.
\t
* Leading, mentoring, and developing your finance team.
What you'll need to succeed

* Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
\t
* Strong technical knowledge of both financial and management accounting.
\t
* Experience in consolidated reporting and audit management.
\t
* Excellent understanding of UK VAT and cashflow forecasting.
\t
* Proven ability to lead and develop a finance team.
\t
* Confidence working to tight deadlines in a fast-paced, acquisitive environment.
\t
* Happy to do 4 days in the office, 1 day remote
