Your new company A leading manufacturing and engineering company with an excellent reputation within their field is seeking an experienced Procurement & Supply Chain expert to join their growing team in Stockport. Due to a significant increase in workbook orders, this is a brand-new role and a great opportunity to join the business through an exciting period of sustained growth.Your new role As Procurement and Supplier Development Lead, your main role will be to improve the Company's supply chain resilience and capabilities. Through strategic supplier relationship management, you will work closely with suppliers to ensure that they have sufficient capability and materials to fulfil customer orders with minimal delay, whilst mitigating risk. In this role, you will work with internal stakeholders such as Senior Buyers and Commodity Managers to gain a detailed understanding of their material requirements in order to meet customer demand.
