Role: Property Transactions & Legal Coordination Manager Location: Preston (Office‑based) Salary: £40,000 Hours: 35 hours per week Sector: Property / Real Estate / Commercial Legal Coordination Role Purpose This role acts as the central coordination point for all legal aspects of property transactions, ensuring that acquisitions, disposals, lettings and litigation matters progress smoothly from agreed terms through to completion.The position is not a solicitor role-instead, it involves managing communication and workflow between the business and its external specialist law firms to ensure efficiency, clarity, and timely progress. Key Responsibilities Coordinate property transactions once Heads of Terms are agreed. Liaise daily with multiple external law firms handling acquisitions, disposals, lettings, commercial agreements, and property‑related litigation. Chase progress on searches, title matters, enquiries, documentation, and outstanding information. Monitor and manage transaction timelines; identify blockers and escalate where needed. Assist with collating information required for legal enquiries and due diligence. Support the preparation of instructions for external litigation teams. Maintain internal trackers and produce concise status reports for senior stakeholders. Ensure communication between internal teams, agents, legal representatives, and advisors flows efficiently. Drive transactions proactively to maintain momentum and avoid avoidable delays. Candidate ProfileIdeal backgrounds include: Commercial Property Paralegal Conveyancing Executive Commercial Property Legal Assistant Property Transaction Coordinator (law firm or property company) Essential Attributes: Strong experience in commercial or residential property transactions. Confident communicating with solicitors, agents, and professional advisors. Highly organised, persistent, and proactive in progressing legal matters. Able to manage multiple transactions at varying stages. Good working knowledge of leases, titles, enquiries, and completion processes. Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate legal documentation and timelines.
