Bus Service Management
As an Arriva Controller, you'll manage services within the Transport for London (TFL) network, ensuring buses run safely, efficiently, and on time. Controllers are vital to our 24/7 operations, working shifts to:
1. Communicate with drivers via radio and face-to-face.
2. Use GPS tracking and technology to oversee services.
3. Ensure compliance with TFL standards.
Training & Progression
Our recruitment process includes an application review and interview. If selected:
* Training: A paid 4-week course to equip you with necessary skills.
* Mentorship: Paired with a mentor post-training for support.
Earnings
* Trainee Rate (0–6 months): £42,000
* Controller Rate (6–18 months): £44,000
* Controller Rate (18+ months): £49,337
* Overtime: £29.03/hour
(Rates subject to annual review.)
Schedule
Five days out of seven, on a rolling rota including weekends.
