We’re looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant / ABA Tutor to join a supportive special education setting in Maidenhead. This is a fantastic opportunity to work 1:1 or in small groups with children who have additional needs, including Autism and social, emotional, or learning challenges. You’ll play a key role in helping pupils reach their potential while being supported by a friendly, professional team. In this role, you’ll deliver personalised support using ABA strategies and other evidence-based approaches, helping pupils develop communication, social, and learning skills. You’ll work closely with the teaching team to implement learning plans, track progress, and adapt approaches to suit each child’s needs. Responsibilities Deliver 1:1 or small group support using ABA techniques and personalised strategies Support pupils in communication, social skills, and academic learning Monitor, record, and report on pupil progress Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and other staff to adapt learning approaches Provide a safe, nurturing, and structured learning environment Requirements Experience supporting pupils with Autism or additional needs, ideally using ABA Level 2 or Level 3 TA qualification (or equivalent) Patience, enthusiasm, and a positive, engaging approach with children Strong communication and teamworking skills Commitment to ongoing professional development This is a rewarding role in a school that values creativity, dedication, and providing children with the support they need to thrive.
