Duties as a Chemistry Cover Supervisor:
* Deliver pre-prepared Chemistry lessons in the absence of the class teacher.
* Supervise students in a laboratory environment, ensuring safety procedures are followed at all times.
* Maintain positive behaviour and a focused classroom atmosphere.
* Support students in understanding key Chemistry concepts and content.
* Liaise with the Science Department to provide feedback on student progress.
* Cover lessons in other subjects when required.
Ideal Chemistry Cover Supervisor:
* Hold a degree in Chemistry or a related scientific discipline.
* Have strong communication and classroom management skills as a Chemistry Cover Supervisor.
* Be confident working independently with groups of students aged 11–16.
* Be enthusiastic about science education and promoting STEM careers.
* Be adaptable, resilient, and committed to supporting young learners.
