Role Description
We are seeking a full-time Security Officer to join our team. This on-site role is based in the North East. Responsibilities include safeguarding the premises and patrons, monitoring entry points, conducting routine patrols, ensuring compliance with venue regulations, and providing exceptional customer service. The officer will be expected to handle security incidents professionally, maintain detailed incident reports, and communicate effectively with the security management team as well as colleagues on-site.
Qualifications
* Strong observation, surveillance, and situational awareness skills
* Knowledge of incident reporting and basic security procedures
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to remain calm, approachable, and professional in high-pressure situations
* Physical fitness and the ability to stand or patrol for extended periods
* Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
* Valid security license or certification is advantageous
* Previous experience in events or venue security is a strong advantage
