This is an excellent opportunity to join a privately owned contractor with ambitious long-term growth plans. You will become one of four Managing Quantity Surveyors reporting directly to the Commercial Director, with genuine opportunities to progress into a Commercial Manager position as the business continues to expand.

The Role
Reporting to the Commercial Director, you will lead commercial activities on civil engineering projects valued between £10m and £50m.
Key responsibilities will include:
* Leading and mentoring Quantity Surveying teams
* Full post-contract commercial management
* Subcontract procurement and management
* Cost, value, and change reporting
* Managing compensation events and contractual change
* Attending and leading client meetings
* Supporting commercial strategy and project delivery
* Ensuring projects are delivered within budget and contractual requirements
Requirements
To be considered for this Managing Quantity Surveyor role, you should have:
* BSc in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline
* Proven experience as a Senior Quantity Surveyor or Managing Quantity Surveyor on projects valued at £10m+
* Strong knowledge of NEC and JCT contracts
* Experience within civil engineering, infrastructure, highways, rail, or earthworks projects
* Excellent commercial management and stakeholder engagement skills
