Sales Manager - Hertfordshire (Sponsorship/Events/Software)
We are seeking a highly motivated Sales Manager to drive sponsorship revenue across our portfolio of high-impact events.
As the Sponsorship Sales Manager, you'll build long-term relationships with leading tech companies, helping them align their brand with the industry’s most exclusive summits and thought leadership opportunities.
Responsibilities:
* Strategic Sales: Develop and execute sponsorship sales strategies that exceed revenue targets and foster high-value long-term partnerships.
* Market Research: Identify and qualify prospective sponsors leveraging in-depth industry knowledge to target decision-makers in tech and cybersecurity sectors.
* Relationship Building: Build, manage, and maintain strong relationships with potential sponsors, acting as a trusted advisor to help them maximize their ROI.
* Sales Presentations: Deliver compelling sponsorship proposals tailored to each prospect’s unique goals, showcasing the value of partnering with EDS Brands.
* Negotiation & Closing: Confidently negotiate contracts and close deals that drive growth for both our sponsors and EDS Brands.
* Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing and production teams to align sponsorship packages with event content, ensuring sponsors receive premium exposure to their target audience.
* Pipeline Management: Maintain an organised and up-to-date sales pipeline using CRM tools to track progress and report on key metrics.
You're a perfect fit if you have:
* 2+ years of experience in sponsorship or B2B sales, preferably within the technology or events industries.
* A proven track record of exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth.
* Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills, with the ability to engage with senior decision-makers.
* A deep understanding of the B2B technology and cybersecurity landscape (a plus).
* The ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines, with a self-motivated and results-oriented mindset.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a flair for delivering persuasive presentations.
