PCV License Holders
Qualified drivers are eligible for a £3,000 signing bonus, payable in two instalments over 12 months (the first payment after 6 months of service, and the second payment after 12 months). To qualify for this bonus, you must not have been employed by First Bus in the past 12 months.
About the Role
As a Bus Driver, you will be an essential part of our community, providing reliable transportation services that our customers count on daily. Your responsibilities will include safely transporting passengers to work, school, and important appointments, as well as assisting those running errands or heading to special events. By ensuring a smooth and secure journey, you will play a vital role in enhancing the daily lives of local residents and helping them stay connected to their community.
These are permanent, full-time positions, working 39 hours per week across a variety of shift patterns, including mornings, evenings, and weekends.
Qualified Drivers will earn £14.60 per hour
We are looking for individuals who meet the following criteria:
1. Hold a valid PCV license.
2. Flexibility: Willingness to work various shifts, including early mornings, late evenings, and weekends.
3. Strong Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal skills to engage effectively with passengers and team members.
4. Customer Service Orientation: A commitment to delivering high-quality service and fostering a welcoming environment.
5. Safety-Conscious: A proactive approach to safety and a track record of responsible driving.
