Marston Holdings Limited is a parent company formed of eight brand entities that each specialise in key areas of our overarching business. In a nutshell, we are the UK's largest judicial services company and pioneers in clean air technology, offering services that support local and central government, utilities, and private sectors through the delivery of market leading integrated technology-enabled solutions from design and implementation to management and recovery.

Are you passionate about building lasting partnerships, driving service excellence, and helping local authorities achieve more for their communities? We’re looking for an experienced Client Relations Manager to join our dynamic team, managing key relationships across local government and public sector organisations.

About The Role

As our Client Relations Manager, you’ll take ownership of a portfolio of local authority clients, ensuring the delivery of exceptional service and the development of strong, trusted relationships. Acting as the key link between clients and internal teams, you’ll oversee performance, service levels, and new opportunities for growth. You’ll play a central role in ensuring each client receives a seamless, proactive service – from regular communication and performance reviews to strategic planning and project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

* Manage and nurture a portfolio of local authority client accounts.
* Develop strong, long‑term relationships through regular communication, meetings, and performance reviews.
* Monitor Service Level Agreements (SLAs), analyse performance data, and identify opportunities for improvement.
* Liaise with cross‑functional teams to ensure timely, high‑quality service delivery.
* Produce clear and concise client reports, summarising key actions, progress, and insights.
* Identify opportunities for account growth and new business within existing client relationships.
* Support client onboarding, ensuring expectations are met from day one.
* Represent the company at client meetings and industry events, strengthening relationships and raising our profile.

About You

We’re looking for someone who thrives on collaboration, communication, and delivering results. You’ll be confident managing multiple priorities, influencing key stakeholders, and finding creative solutions to challenges.

Essential Skills & Experience

* Proven experience in client relationship or account management within the enforcement sector and/or local authorities.
* Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organisational skills.
* Strong analytical ability with a keen eye for detail.
* Confident in preparing and delivering reports and presentations.
* Proactive and adaptable, with the ability to manage multiple accounts and deadlines.
* Valid UK driving licence.
* Experience using CRM systems to manage client relationships and performance data.

Why Join Us?

* Be part of a collaborative, forward‑thinking organisation that values innovation and partnership.
* Work closely with local authorities to make a real impact on public services and community outcomes.
* Opportunities for professional growth, development, and career progression.

What’s in it for you?

* Competitive Salary + Car Allowance
* Full Time, 37.5 hours per week
* Healthcare Cash Plan
* Staff benefits designed to suit you – from discounts on retail shopping, travel, and socialising to health & wellbeing
* Competitive annual leave allowance
* Cycle to work scheme
* Pension Contribution

New starters will be subject to clearance through the Disclosure and Barring Service and a County Court Judgment check. In addition, the post holder is expected to keep the Company updated if their personal circumstances change.

We are an equal opportunity employer, which means we'll consider all suitably qualified applicants regardless of gender identity or expression, ethnic origin, nationality, religion or beliefs, age, sexual orientation, disability status or any other protected characteristic. We recruit and develop our people based on merit and their passion for creating better outcomes, and we're committed to creating an inclusive environment for all employees.
