About The Role
Are you ready to take the next step in your culinary career? We’re on the lookout for a Junior Kitchen Manager to join our vibrant team! Reporting to the Senior Kitchen Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in running our kitchen and leading a dynamic team of up to 40 talented individuals.
At Butlin’s, making our guests smile is at the heart of everything we do. You’ll ensure that our guests remain the central focus of all operational decisions. Your responsibilities will include:
* Resource planning and recruitment to build the best team for delivering exceptional service.
* Monitoring guest experiences and developing action plans for continuous improvement.
* Managing food cost budgets through effective menu planning and adherence to cooking standards.
* Ensuring compliance with food hygiene standards and health and safety regulations.
As a role model for Butlin’s unique way of working, you’ll inspire your team through training schedules and performance development plans, ensuring they deliver a fantastic experience to our guests every time. You’ll have the opportunity to lead and develop a skilled team in our main buffet restaurant, serving guests who have booked a half-board dining package.
Qualifications
To thrive in this role, you should have:
* A Level 3 Food Safety qualification.
* Confidence in leading a team to maintain high standards in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
