Your Role & Team in a Nutshell
As an eCommerce Sales Associate you will handle our strategic customer in EMEA - Amazon.
Your goal is to build on this momentum with market share, sales, and profit gains across biggest categories for Yankee Candle and Woodwick brands.
You will have the opportunity to unlock additional brand and selection opportunities, alongside creating marketing packages that increase Newell Brands' visibility in the eCommerce landscape.
You will be part of a dynamic, international eCommerce team and work with multiple stakeholders across Sales, Customer Marketing, Consumer Experience, and Supply Chain.
We will help you achieve your goals and develop by providing regular feedback and access to online training courses.
Your Key Responsibilities:
1. Identifying and supporting customer KPIs to unlock growth partnership
2. Support your manager in building long-term joint business plans (JBP) to plan for and unlock sustainable growth
3. Know your budget and deliver against yearly, quarterly and monthly finance targets
4. Set up and track your sales in and EPOS data
5. Monitor stock in trade alongside providing demand forecasts to Newell Brands procurement teams
6. Launch NPD and product on-time and set up promotional and market plans
7. Continually seek to improve the online and interactive experiences of the consumer on retailer websites
8. Share brand knowledge with the customer to pitch and launch additional assortment and marketing opportunities
9. Work with marketing and content teams to deliver on-time brand and product launches
10. Create a joined-up promotional plan to win rank and relevancy during key customer events
11. Support your manager to build and negotiate commercial agreements and marketing placements
12. Analyse business performance and make suggestions to deliver opportunity or offset risk
What You’ll Need
Minimum:
13. Proven track record of direct and hands-on sales, category experience, trade/shopper marketing, experience in eCommerce providing solutions in a large, international company in consumer-packaged goods (CPG), FMCG or consumer durables industry
14. Knowledge of eCommerce product flow and web store performance optimisation
15. Strong MS Excel skills
16. Willing to travel to meet with the customer
Your advantage:
17. Experience with Amazon Vendor Central or Seller Central
18. Experience analysing EPoS, and market data and assisting with budgeting, cost estimating, managing, and optimizing online marketing tactics with an emphasis on efficient spending to generate ROI
19. Understands or has had access to P&L or financial KPIs
20. Can evidence data-driven decision making
21. Detail oriented
