The children, staff and Governors of Queen's Drive Primary School wish to appoint an enthusiastic and inspirational full-time class teacher, who is committed to the continual improvement of our outstanding, forward-thinking and caring school. One of our Year 2 teachers is starting her maternity at the beginning of January and this post will be for at least the Spring and Summer Term.

Essential Qualifications
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* A degree-level qualification relevant to teaching
* Evidence of recent, relevant professional development (particularly in KS1 or early primary practice)
Essential Experience
* Teaching in Key Stage 1 with evidence of positive impact on pupil progress and planning
* Experience of differentiating learning to meet the needs of all pupils, including SEND and more able
* Experience of classroom management and maintaining a positive, safe, and engaging learning environment
* Experience of using formative and summative assessment effectively
Desirable Experience
* Experience of teaching in a large primary setting
