Its activities include the ViraxImmune platform and the ImmuneSelect product and services portfolio, supporting biotechnology and diagnostics organisations across the UK and Europe.
Role Overview
The role focuses on commercial engagement, and account development, working with companies that outsource laboratory services and reagent supply. It requires an understanding of how industry partners evaluate, procure, and manage external development and manufacturing services. Regular travel is required (up to 30% of the time). The candidate will report directly to the Scientific Partnerships Manager.
Key Responsibilities
1. Execute business development activities to grow our services, including recombinant protein and antibody engineering, custom peptide manufacturing, and immunology laboratory testing.
2. Identify and engage industrial partners, primarily biotechnology companies, CDMOs, and diagnostics developers.
3. Manage commercial discussions, including project scoping, quotations, and contract negotiations.
4. Maintain relationships with distributors and strategic partners.
