The main purpose of this role is to provide dedicated EPOS, Data and Administration support to the whole of the business.
This is a new role to the organisation and one that is critical to our success and overall effectiveness. The successful candidate will enjoy working on their own initiative and have an eye for detail. You should enjoy working with numbers and have an aptitude for evaluation and corrective action. Ability to build up a rapport with managers, with great written and verbal communication skills, is key to success in this role.
This is a part time role 24 hours a week. Some flexibility during peak times to increase these hours would be advantageous. There is some flexibility in how these hours are distributed across the week to suit the individual as long as it meets the needs of the business.
The role responsibilities:
* Maintenance of the EPOS system keeping it up to date
* Interrogation of the system and data and taking ownership for corrective action of any issues
* Producing regular reports and acting on any issue highlighted by the reports
* Working proactively with department managers to ensure the EPOS systems is not only correct but running as efficiently as possible
* Training managers on the correct use of the system and being a first point of contact for any issues
Main tasks:
* Inputting data for new products.
* Importing stock onto the system.
* Collating information and data from suppliers.
* Working with departments to maintain and check stock levels and information.
* Importing files from suppliers.
* Running of daily/weekly/monthly reports.
* Evaluating reports and providing feedback to managers.
* Creating Purchase orders for department managers when required.
* Keeping the stock file accurate and up to date.
* Collating & extracting data.
* Producing stock and sales reports for department managers.
* General daily administration support as required by management.
* Preparing stock data for transfer onto our website
Skills Criteria
* GCSE min grade 5 in English and Maths ( Essential)
* A level or Equivalent in related skills e.g. Maths, Business Studies, Economics (Desirable)
* Minimum 2 years working in an office environment in a similar Supportive Role
* Proven excellent IT skills. Competent in Microsoft Word & Excel (Essential)
* Interest and Experience in data and data analysis. (Essential)
* Proven analytical mindset with excellent attention to detail (Essential)
* Track record of Ability to ensure accuracy and quality in all data. ( Essential)
* Technical and working knowledge of an EPOS retail system would be advantageous (Desirable)
* Strong verbal and written skills to effectively convey messages. (Essential)
* The ability to work collaboratively with Department Managers.
